Chickering 5'4" Baby Grand Piano, Style "A", 1921

1921 Chickering 5'4" Baby Grand Piano "Acoustigrande" Model, Style "A". Condition is "Used".
Well loved piano, but my wife sustained a wrist injury in an automobile accident and can no longer play it. Ebony and era-appropriate keys in very good condition. Finish is original, soundboard is original. Strings and hammers may be original, but I don't know. Has been kept away from sunlight and exterior walls since mid-1960s. Most recently tuned 12-18 months ago. Sound is described as warm and dark (I'm a retired engineer with some hearing loss, so I'm no judge of such things). The tuner we used since the mid-1990s described the tone as "incredible" and action as good. Bench was made by Tonk of Chicago and is included.
Local pickup only. The services of professional movers is highly encouraged. Additional photos are available upon request, and it is available for inspection by appointment.

I do not end auctions early UNLESS they have already ran for the 7 or 10 day initial period and been relisted at least once. If they were available that long and didn’t get a bid I assume interest is low. If the auction has “make offer” available, please consider making an offer.
