    Original cdv of Captain Arnold Collins 34th Pa Vols, mid chest view by Addis,  Standing view is a copy of another image of him I used to own and is not included in the sale.  Diary is for January to June of 1863 with lots of content.  Great combination.
    Residence Columbia PA; a 24 year-old Clerk.
    Enlisted on 5/28/1861 at Lancaster County, PA as a 1st Lieutenant.
    On 5/28/1861 he was commissioned into "K" Co. PA 34th Infantry
    He was transferred out on 9/1/1863
    On 9/1/1863 he transferred into Veteran Reserve Corps "Not Stated"
