    PROMOTED TO 1ST  LIEUTENANT CO. D  DEC. 31 1862
    PROMOTED TO CAPTAIN CO. B MARCH 19 1864
    MUSTERED OUT OF REGIMENT IN 9/29/1865
    I HAVE A COPY OF A HAND WRITTEN LETTER TO HIS SISTER  THIRSIA PUGH IN 11/11/1865 (SEE SCAN)
    I ALSO HAVE A HAND WRITTEN NOTE FROM HIM TO MS WILLIAM JOHNSON  (SEE SCAN) (THIS WAS FOUND INSIDE THE CASE)
    THE Daguerreotype IS IN A CASE FROM HOLMES BOOTH & HAYDEN FROM WATERBURY CONN.
    CAPTAIN PUGH IS SEEN HOLDING A KNIFE AND A SMALL PISTOL.
    I HAVE COPIES OF HIS RECORDS THAT  I WILL INCLUDE.
    THIS ITEM AND THE LETTERS ARE FROM HIS FAMILY'S ESTATE IN NORTH CAROLINA.
    I HAVE ALSO INCLUDED 2 PERSONAL COINS THAT BELONG TO CAPTAIN PUGH
